The main CENPA conference room, Room 178, is opposite the front door next to the front office. It's equipped with a projector screen, a wall-mounted Sony VPL-FE40 projector, and display adapters suitable for connecting Mac laptops to the projector. The projector is turned on via remote control. In the upper left corner of the remote control, a slider turns the remote ON or OFF; it must be in the ON position to enable remote control of the projector, including powering on the device. Please give the projector a few moments to respond before hitting the power button a second time. Otherwise, the device can freeze.
A second conference room is located in the library, Room 205. This is equipped with an HD LCD screen and Windows 7 computer.
If you need to reserve either conference room for a meeting, talk, or practice talk, please use the main CENPA signup page at http://www.npl.washington.edu/reservations. Note that many groups have recurring meetings in one conference room or the other. You will be able to see the other reservations, so you can negotiate with the relevant person if you are hoping that they will shift a previously scheduled meeting.
