CENPA faculty and postdocs can teach lecture or lab courses. Since CENPA does not have classroom space, these courses are generally taught in the Physics Building.
CENPA faculty can also advise students in independent research projects through the following independent-study courses, offered for credit rather than for grades:
Graduate students move from Physics 600 to Physics 800 on passing their General Exams. You can find more information on the course of study for physics graduate students here, on the Physics Department webpage.
In order to teach a course – even independent study – you will need a faculty code so that students can register to study with you. Margot Nims, the Undergraduate Physics Advisor, generates faculty codes. To obtain one, you must contact her.
